Incorrigible Beauty

Take a step back, and view the world from a different place.
See it from a different perspective.
Allow yourself to be withdrawn from mundane affairs,
and the truth shall reveal in front of you.

It is often hidden in plain sight, but it may be obscured by shadows.
Lit a light and glance upon it.
Beware the blinding light,
but look nevertheless, for the truth shall set you free.

Some things are just not meant to be.
Do not be fooled by their alluring illusions.
Do not assume that they are gifts bestowed upon you.
It may be a snake that snares you.
It may be a poison that corrupts you from deep within.
It may be where you least expect it.
It may tempt you to your death.
When rationality hits reality, you will have already fallen into the trap.
The beauty will have captured you with its vice-like embrace.

You will sink deep.
You will get yourself tangled.
You will struggle to get out.
You will cry out loud for help.

But somebody may not hear you.
And can you help yourself then?

Will you break the barrier and head towards the light?
Or will you give in to temptations,
and fall into the deep abyss of darkness?
Will you be the undoing of your own making?
Or will you make your own doing?
Will you lose your way in this mortal madness?
Or will you find a way out of this labyrinth?
Will you save yourself before it is too late?

Sometimes, the solution is simple but the truth is harsh.
If you overcome it, it shall be your saving grace.
It shall be your past.
It shall be your learning.
It shall be your making.
It shall be your future.
